Final Boss in the Human Lasley story arc.
Devana creates buffs/debuffs stacks as you strike at it, changing between healing Devana and putting an InstaKill curse upon you. It switches depending on which of the 3 phases the players is on (2 revivals, 3 lives, each constituting a phase).
The effects of the buff/debuff in progress will display on screen and disappear when they are reset.
In order to remove these buffs/debuff counters, you must defeat the waves of enemies Devana summons without striking Devana more than 4 times. Each 2 or 4 enemies, the stacks will reset.
The goal is to slowly wear down Devana in phases 2 and 3 without allowing it to execute its Instalkill move or full heal.
Defeating Devana will unlock the Beast Marks Sword 'Hou[1]' katana as well as playing a unique credit sequence.
